Meet Olùkọ́ Bólúwatifẹ́
Language Educator
Creating engaging and supportive class environment
Most of my students come to me with a common story: they grew up hearing Yorùbá, they understand pieces of it, but when the moment comes to actually speak it, with family, at gatherings, in real conversation, the words do not come.
That is the gap I exist to close.
I am Olùkọ́ Boluwatife, and I work primarily with heritage learners who want more than passive familiarity with their language. My lessons are practical and grounded, focused on speaking, listening, and understanding how Yorùbá is naturally used in everyday life, not in a controlled classroom setting, but in the moments that matter.
I create a learning space where students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and build confidence at a pace that works for them. Cultural insight is woven into every session because language without culture is just vocabulary. Whether you are starting from the basics or working to strengthen your conversational skills, I will walk with you steadily toward speaking Yorùbá in a way that feels like home.
