Everything you need to know about our courses
You are in exactly the right place! We have specific paths designed just for you. Our Yoruba Beginners School offers a structured 42-week curriculum that starts from the very basics. Alternatively, our Personalized Classes can be tailored to start at zero and move at your own pace.
All live sessions (Personalized, Group, and Summer Camp) are conducted online via video conference, allowing you to interact with native instructors in real-time. For Yorùversity, the courses are self-paced, meaning you can log in and access lessons anytime, anywhere.
Yes, we want to ensure you are in the best learning environment for your needs. If you start in a group class but realize you need more individual attention, or vice versa, simply contact our support team. We will help transition you to the program that fits your current goals.
To participate effectively, you need a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone. For the Beginners School and Reading School, all necessary digital curriculum materials are provided upon enrollment.
We offer free bi-monthly Practice Circles and a Reading Club where you can experience our teaching style and community atmosphere at no cost. For personalized instruction, you can book a single session starting at just $10 to see if it’s the right fit before committing to a longer package.
Private classes (Personalized) offer 1-on-1 attention, fully flexible scheduling, and a curriculum adapted to your specific speed. Group classes (like the Beginners School or Yoruba Club) follow a set weekly schedule and allow you to learn alongside peers, building a supportive community to practice with.
