We welcome children starting at age 4. Our curriculum is specifically categorized into developmental stages: play-based learning for ages 4-6, interactive story-building for ages 7-10, and conversational skills for ages 11-14, ensuring the content is always relevant and engaging.
Each session is 1 hour long. We have found this to be the perfect duration to cover the lesson material, play educational games, and practice speaking without the child losing focus or becoming overwhelmed.
Yes, they can! Learning together is a great way to build a “Yoruba ecosystem” at home. We offer a special sibling discount where an additional child can join the session for just $8 (or ₦5,000).
That is completely normal. Our instructors are specifically trained to be patient and encouraging. We start with low-pressure, fun activities like games and songs to build trust. Our goal is to make the class feel like play so your child forgets their nervousness and feels confident to speak.
You will notice them starting to use Yoruba greetings and vocabulary at home! Beyond that, our instructors provide regular feedback and progress updates to let you know exactly what concepts your child has mastered and what they are working on next.
