Focused on helping adult learners achieve professional-level fluency.
Alade Samuel

Over seven years of teaching Yorùbá has taught me one thing above all: there is no single type of learner, and there should be no single type of lesson. I work with everyone, from children finding their linguistic roots for the first time to adults pursuing native fluency and diaspora members rebuilding a connection to heritage. I tailor my approach to each one.

My methodology draws on immersion techniques that have worked across generations: storytelling, etymological exploration, songs, and proverbs. I layer these with interactive digital tools to create an environment that is engaging for any age and any starting point. The goal is always the same: natural command of the language and a genuine cultural connection to what Yorùbá represents.

I do not just teach you to speak Yorùbá. I help you understand why the language is structured the way it is, where its expressions come from, and how to carry it with you into the world. Students who learn with me leave not only fluent, but grounded.
