Meet Olùkọ́ Abímbọ́lá

Chief Language Educator
Crafting the curriculum that turns ‘strangers’ to the language into confident speakers.
Abímbọ́lá Òdúníyì

I believe every child deserves to grow up knowing where they come from, and language is one of the most powerful ways to keep that connection alive. That belief is what drives everything I do in the classroom.

I am Abímbólá Oduniyi, an educator with over four years of experience teaching Yorùbá to children and teenagers. I hold certifications including training from the National African Languages Resource Centre (NALRC), and I bring both the academic grounding and the warmth that young learners need to truly engage with a language.

My lessons are built around storytelling, real conversation, and cultural context. I do not just teach vocabulary. I help students develop a genuine relationship with the language, one where they feel confident using it in everyday life.

Whether your child or you is hearing Yorùbá for the first time or working to strengthen what they already know, I will meet them where they are and guide them forward with patience and encouragement.
