Meet Olùkọ́ Ọdúnọlá
Language Educator
Passionate about weaving traditional proverbs and history into every lesson.
I have been teaching Yorùbá for 10 years, working with students both online and in person, and the one thing that has never changed in my approach is this: language learning should connect to real life, not just theory.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Yorùbá, and I use that depth of knowledge to make lessons accessible rather than overwhelming. My style is clear and engaging. I use practical examples and creative methods that reflect how Yorùbá is actually spoken in everyday situations, not just how it appears in textbooks.
My goal for every student is that they finish our sessions thinking independently in the language, not translating in their heads, but responding naturally. I encourage active participation, honest questions, and consistent practice because that is what actually builds fluency.
If you are serious about speaking Yorùbá with confidence, I will give you the structure and support to get there.
