Meet Olùkọ́ Ọlọ́ládé
Language Educator
Specializes in making beginners feel confident and speaking from Day 1.
I spent years studying how language works before I truly understood that knowing about a language and helping someone live inside it are two very different things. My teaching is built on that distinction. I hold a degree in Linguistics, African, and Asian Studies from the University of Lagos, and I am certified by the National African Languages Resource Centre (NALRC). Over the past three years, I have helped complete non-speakers reach confident, conversational Yorùbá.
My methodology goes beyond rote memorisation. I combine a structured curriculum with gamified learning, audio-visual tools, and real interactions with native speakers, because fluency is not built in isolation.
What I offer is not just language instruction. It is an immersive experience that connects you to Yorùbá culture in a way that sticks. Students who learn with me do not just know more Yorùbá. They feel more rooted in the culture behind it.
