Yes. This program is specifically designed for fluent or semi-fluent speakers (native or heritage speakers). We focus entirely on orthography, tone marking, and literacy rules. If you are learning to speak the language from scratch, our Beginners School would be a better fit.
Even if you can write basic sentences (perhaps on WhatsApp or Facebook), this course will refine your accuracy. We dive deep into tone marking (àmì ohùn) and standard orthography rules that are often missed in informal writing. You will move from “guessing” to writing with grammatical precision.
Yes. All live sessions are recorded. If you have to miss a class due to work or personal commitments, you can watch the replay to ensure you don’t miss any critical instruction before the next week.
Since this is an intensive 8-week program, consistent practice is key. We recommend setting aside 1-2 hours per week for writing assignments and reading practice to truly master the material within the short timeframe.
